Our rates are usually lower than any other crewed charter you could find. For more specifics rates, consult the above list of sailboats available. Air transportation, transferts from the airport to the marina, meals (except on certain boats) and dockage fees are not included.

Planning your cruise
Our representative will help you make your choice according to your needs and budget. We can provide all the information necessary to make sure that you make the right decision.

A crewed yacht charter is perhaps one of the most memorable vacations that you will ever take. It is up to you to choose the type of boat, your destination and travel arrangements. Every crew will have the same preoccupation, making sure that you will spend the best vacation ever and to give you complete satisfaction.

A sailboat offers the best comfort : small number of passengers, privates cabins, well equiped kitchen, BBQ, inflated dinghy to reach land and an experienced skipper to undertake a safe cruise. With him, you can plan an itinerary to explore several islands, to visit isolated beaches or to extend your stay at your favorite spot. Relaxation, exoticism and comfort are the secrets for unforgettable holidays!

You will be surprised by the warm welcome our Canadian skipper and hostess. You will appreciate their french culture during your holidays; your hosts are bilingual and by experience, they are very familiar with the needs of vacationers. The crew is prepared to do all the sailing, but passengers can lend a hand.

Getting to your yacht
NAVTOURS will suggest the best air transportation facilities available, without additional cost. A charter during the most popular periods should be booked several months in advance if at all possible. Transportation between the airport and the yacht's anchorage or marina is provided by taxi. Air travel insurance can be purchased when you make your airline reservations.

Chartering your sailboat
You can charter a boat exclusively for your party or share it with other passengers; most charters consist of between 2 and 6 individuals in comfortable double cabins. The minimum charter period is for 7 nights; we encourage you to charter for a longer period for increased pleasure.

Meals
You may choose either to buy your own grocery and prepare your meals with the help of other passengers and the crew, or let your hosts do the cooking.

Life aboard
Your own private floating hotel will take you to many interesting islands and your crew will act as expert guides, sharing their knowledge of the sea with you freely. You can plan your trip in advance or take each day as it comes. Do not expect to sail after dark for security reasons.

There are many marinas in our cruising areas, but boaters prefer to use the numerous anchorages located in bays or between islands; their choice for the day or the night depends on factors such as wind direction, passengers preferences, etc. In general, these places are calm and ideal for water sports.

What about the activity program during your cruise?

Sailing cruises with several stops and moments of rest are part of each nautical vacation; it is time to learn basic navigation techniques, practice manoeuvres or complete your sailing knowledge. The skipper will be pleased to let you take the helm if you'd like to.

Sunbathing, snorkeling, swimming, underwater photography, fishing and sealife observation are a must. Everyone, including non swimmers (wearing floatation devices), enjoys the crystal-clear waters and the many coral reefs and tropical fishes. Visit the countless uncrowded beaches and private coves where you can have a picnic lunch not far from the boat.

Shopping, islands discovery, touristic excursions and sightseeing and even access to casinos and restaurants are possible onland during your cruise. Most sailing will be but brief interludes between one activity and the next, as there is always something to do; you will have plenty of time to lie back and relax each day.

Reading, relaxing, music, gastronomy; bring your own favorite tapes or CDs to appreciate your vacation even more! After the day's activities are over, you can enjoy your dinner on deck while watching a spectacular sunset or dine below in a more formal setting. You will find that it is possible to prepare amazing dishes from the small galley. Good food, good drinks and good company are all part of cruising.
