All yachts in NAVTOURS’ fleet are owned by individuals or corporate suppliers. If you already have a sailboat or powerboat or if you plan to invest in marine craft,  NAVTOURS provides you the opportunity to generate income from your capital investment, thanks to its charter fleet.

Our charter management program offers many advantages:

• Charter income will help pay for the purchase of your yacht, its maintenance, repair and even renovation;
• You may deduct many expenses such as interest, maintenance costs, berthing or docking fees, insurance, wintering and other expenses on your income tax return;

• Technical assistance with boat rental, bareboat or crewed;

• Provision of the services of a qualified skipper or a sailing instructor certified by the Quebec Sailing Federation and the Canadian Yachting Association;

• Professional advice regarding the purchase, sale, maintenance and renovation of your boat;
• Detailed reports on all charters taken;
• Practical payment methods, such as: initial payment before season starts, guaranteed minimum income, periodic payments...

To qualify as a NAVTOURS supplier, you must satisfy the following conditions:

• Own a yacht having specifications consistent with those of the charter market and offering exceptional standards of comfort and safety.  The availability of the boat for charter can be total, partial or occasional (from one week to full season);
• Keep your yacht in excellent operating condition and ensure its outstanding appearance at the beginning of each season;
• Make sure that all equipment is working properly and that marine safety rules are strictly respected;
• Contract commercial insurance that permits you to rent your boat;
• Provide high quality maintenance of your boat throughout the charter period;
• Give NAVTOURS the exclusive right to manage your charter calendar and to promote your boat to the public;
• Pay a commission based on the nature of management services provided by NAVTOURS;
• Guarantee the experience of any skipper you might hire to captain your boat.
